Chat with colleagues, catch up on industry developments, and help restore a waterway in the Exhibit Hall

If the 2025 Tandem Meetings | Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Meetings of ASTCT® and CIBMTR® have a central town square, it is the Exhibit Hall.

Located just off the main lobby of the Hawaiʻi Convention Center, the Exhibit Hall is an ideal location to drop by before, between, or after sessions, said Ashley Wissinger, Tandem Meetings program coordinator.

“When you enter the Exhibit Hall, it is buzzing,” Wissinger noted.

The excitement in this year’s Exhibit Hall comes from three distinct and connected areas: the exhibitor meeting room, the central Exhibit Hall, and the poster presentation hall.

The central Exhibit Hall will feature more than 70 booths, refreshments, opportunities for networking, and unique local vendors.

An environmental-themed activity station will partner with the bioremediation Genki Ala Wai Project to create Genki balls. These mud balls full of microorganisms help restore the neighboring Ala Wai Canal into a fishable and swimmable waterway. Supported by Orca Bio, the station allows attendees to create a Genki ball and toss previously created Genki balls directly into the canal located behind the convention center.

Tail-wagging ambassadors from the Hawaiian Humane Society will also appear at the hall’s Dog-Petting Lounge, supported by Sanofi. Attendees can enjoy enthusiastic canine bonding and learn about the society’s mission to serve the islands as a Socially Conscious Animal Community.

Throughout the 2025 Tandem Meetings, the hall will host Product & Innovation Theaters, dedicated spaces where organizations present information about their product(s), service(s), or therapeutic area(s). A full list of theater presentations will be available on the meeting’s online agenda.

Wissinger said she also expects the charging lounge to draw many attendees. Supported by Jazz Pharmaceuticals Inc., the lounge allows attendees to power up devices or check emails from comfortable seating areas.

Another highlight will be the presence of representatives from Salt Lake City. Attendees can hear about local attractions and tips for traveling to and visiting the 2026 Tandem Meetings host city.

The main Exhibit Hall will be open Feb. 12-14, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and Feb. 15, 9 a.m.-noon. Lunch and breaks will be served in the Exhibit Hall, so Wissinger suggests planning to visit before or after these busy times.

Exhibitors can reserve a spot in the Exhibit Hall up to the conference dates, as long as spaces remain open. These reservations can be made by emailing organizers at [email protected], or by referring to the Tandem Meetings website.
